These discoveries and many others from this location shed light on one of the most important and vexing puzzles of evolution – the transition from water to land, from fish to amphibian! The new Paleo-Centre is destined to represent an exciting brand in the world of science museums. The uniqueness of the project is that it features not only one of the greatest chapters in animal evolution, but also its bold innovations in museum displays – including:
- evolutionary 3D art and 7D holographic projections
- videos, and a variety of educational/interactive displays
- science, geology, and paleontology store
- monuments up to 50ft. - as well as cabinets full of fossils!
Our Funding Proposal demonstrates how the growing Geotourism Industry and an established public interest in the fossil history of Nova Scotia can be leveraged to create a one-of-a-kind attraction to benefit the public, the people of Nova Scotia and the investors in this museum.
